Biography

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a veteran of both the Navy and the Coast Guard, David traded marine electronics for the equally high-voltage world of adult education. From installing radar systems to teaching courses in electrical theory, instructional design, and professional development, he has remained driven by a passion for helping others navigate their own professional paths.

After years of moving around cities more than a migratory bird, David found his permanent nest in Sonoma County, where he continues down a path of lifelong learning and serving others. Outside the classroom, he can be found getting dizzy spinning in circles on the salsa and bachata dance floor, getting "pickled" in pickleball by grumpy grandpas, or trying to grow his chicken legs in the gym. David holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a M.A. in Organizational Leadership, and has recently authored his debut novel, Francisco’s Thoughts—a story of a Spanish immigrant that weaves together adventure, romance, and comedy, inspired by the "poetic chaos" of David’s own life.
